Ignacio Subirats Morate

Nacho Subirats – Animator and Illustrator with over 10 years of professional experience.

He has worked in audiovisual production companies, advertising agencies, and publishing houses.

He is a regular collaborator with publishers such as Penguin Random House, McGraw Hill, SM, and Vaughan. He is the illustrator of the children’s series Jurásico Total, now in its fourth edition, which has sold thousands of copies.

He currently teaches traditional animation at ESDIP and is one of the coordinators of projects at his production company, Esdip Animation Studio.

He is one of the directors of the animated short film Yaku, awarded at several international festivals and selected for the Goya Awards. Additionally, he has worked as an animator on I Wish, nominated for Best Animated Short Film at the 2018 Goya Awards, and on Blue & Malone: Casos Imposibles, also nominated the same year. He has recently completed his second short film as director, Oldie but Goldie.
