José María Benito is a Computer Engineering graduate from Bowling Green State University, USA. He holds a Master’s degree in Computational Mathematics from UPM and has several years of experience as a developer and project manager. He has worked on a wide variety of products, including mobile apps, animated films, video games, and professional applications. He is a specialist in the application of mathematical methods to development.
He was an analyst at the Indra Air Automation, in Air Traffic. He worked for Ilion Animation Studios as Tools developer on the film, Planet 51. He was also a game developer at Digital Legends Entertainment and Revistronic. Currently, in addition to being a professor at U-Tad, he is a freelance R&D developer at his firm, Treedworks, for companies such as AXYZ-Desig. His work involves researching the animation and visualization of realistic human models, using neural networks (deep learning), AI (crowds), shaders (PBR), and other video game techniques.
