He is a senior telecommunications engineer with extensive experience in cutting-edge research in cellular systems. He has participated in the development of LTE and NR technologies and has been a member of 3GPP standardization groups. He led the R&D team at Telefónica in developing the PRAGA software radio platform. This platform is used in EU innovation projects for advanced radio interface testing. Since 2017, he has been involved in the 5G postgraduate master’s program as a university lecturer and evaluator of European proposals to the H2020 program.
He has worked on the following books: “Protección Electromagnética de Instalaciones de Telecomunicación” and “5G Mobile and Wireless Communications Technology” (Cambridge University Press), and has also authored several international EMC and Radio patents.
