Recommendation systems in serverless architectures

  • DESCRIPTION: Final degree project that seeks to reduce the search time for movies on the different on-demand content platforms. For this, the creation of a large-scale recommendation system in a serverless architecture is proposed, which centralizes the movie catalogs of the different platforms. This work has exposed the steps and decision-making set necessary to create an API for a movie recommendation system using a serverless architecture in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. Fulfilling the main objective of unifying in one place all the movies found on the different online content consumption platforms, in order to save time in the search for interesting movies for the user.
