Our staff has in-depth industry knowledge from their extensive experience in the sector

They are aware that the world of technology is constantly evolving and changing. How do we convey this to our students? How do we keep them up to date with the latest industry advancements? How can we make their transition to the labor market as smooth as possible?

Our response to these questions involves a teaching staff of industry professionals. Every day, they face this technological evolution and come up with real solutions for change. Their understanding of the industry provides students with genuine experience.
We have recruited a unique faculty of top-notch international professionals to contribute to our Campus’ creative environment. Interaction and knowledge sharing are the main focus of our classes, thanks to small class sizes and close teacher-student relationships.

Character design in netflix animation

DIRECTOR OF THE EXPERT PROGRAM IN CHARACTER DESIGN


A designer with more than 25 years of experience in the industry, he spent seven years as an animator at Disney, where he worked to bring Tarzan to life, among other characters, with the Paris team, supervised directly by the legendary Glen Keane for more than two years. He’s been back in Madrid sincew 2003, having worked as a character designer for major animation studios such as Netfilx Animation, Warner Bors, Dreamworks, The SPA Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Illumination Mac Guff among many others. He has worked on films such as Moana, Zootopia, Klaus, Despicable Me 3, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Mary Poppins Returns, Space Jam 2, and The Boss Baby: Family Business..

Her professional work focuses on art direction, having worked for various communication agencies such as Bassat Ogilvy, Tango, MPC, Scrum and Sons, and Zama Comunicación. She has worked with both international and national brands, including:: Telefónica, IBM, Johnie Walker, Cepsa, BMW, Philips, IE, FEAD, and Amaral (on his album Hacia lo Salvaje). ANIMATION AND VFX PRODUCTION TEACHER


With 6 years dedicated to animation and digital effects production, Laura is an established professional in the film world. She got started in the world of animation production with Ilion in 2014 with the international hit, Wonder Park. In 2017, she left for Weta Digital, where she made her debut with the VES award winning film Mortal Engines. Since then, Laura has amassed experience as Department Production Manager on a multitude of projects including Jungle Cruise, Jumanji 2, Avengers Endgame, Black Widow, Shadow in the Cloud, The King's Man, Godzilla vs Kong and Suicide Squad 2, among others.

For 6 years, he has been in charge of Red Team teams for different organizations, coordinating and developing advanced intrusion exercises (Red Team) at an international level (America, South America, and Europe). Author of the book " El Red Team de la empresa" by 0xWord. Security researcher and speaker at RootedCON, 8,8, Navaja Negra, and others. For the past 6 years, he has been coordinating different Red Team services, conducting advanced intrusion simulations for both Spanish and international companies (America, South America and Europe).

PROFESSOR AND RESEARCHER


PhD Cum Laude in Computer Engineering and Director of Virtual Reality projects at U-tad. Doctoral candidate accredited by ANECA. She has worked on more than 16 research projects since 2006. Among them are the European projects 'The Blue Brain' and 'The Human Brain Project', which, due to their large scope and budget (1.2 billion euros), are part of the 7th European Framework. She is also the Director of R+D+i Projects at U-tad. Some of them include: 'CicerOn', 'InmersArte', 'Cenizas', 'Virtual Transplant Reality', 'Lancelot', 'MomentumVR' and 'NextGen,' together with entities such as Hospital Universitario La Paz, Indra, Fundación Orange, Ministry of Education, etc. She’s been a university professor since 2008 and has written more than 40 books with the Ra-Ma publishing house.

Arturo Serrano is a Concept Artist with more than 12 years of experience in AAA videogame development and 3 years working in academia. He is currently a Senior Concept Artist at Mercury Steam, the award-winning development studio responsible for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow,the critically acclaimed Metroid: Samus Returns and Spacelords.
He has also worked at Pyro Studios, the developers of the Commandos saga.

Rigging Supervisor at Skydance Animation Madrid

Director of the Master’s in Rigging and CFX. Animation Degree Teacher


Since 2007, he’s worked at Ilion Animation Studios, as Rigger Artist on Planet 51, and as Rigging Supervisor on both Mortadelo y Filemón contra Jimmy el Cachondo and Wonder Park.
He is currently in the development phase of two new films at Skydance Animation Madrid. He balances his professional work with being a professor at U-tad, teaching various subjects in the Animation Degree and directing the Master’s Program in Rigging and CFX. He is a member of the International Congress of Animation, VFX and New Media, Mundos Digitales.
