Doctor Europeo en Informática por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), en 2011 ha sido investigador visitante en centros de investigación de excelencia como Wearable Computing Lab en la universidad ETH de Suiza, European Centre for Soft Computing y Centro de Domótica Integral. Su experiencia investigadora está centrada principalmente en el campo del reconocimiento de patrones y las técnicas Deep Learning aplicadas a la monitorización del movimiento del cuerpo humano y a las señales fisiológicas.
