Doctora Cum Lauden en Ingeniería Informática y Directora de Investigación en U-tad. Contratada Doctora acrediatada por ANECA con un sexenio vivo por el CNEAI. Ha trabajado en más de 18 proyectos de investigación desde 2006. Entre ellos destacan los proyectos europeos ‘The Blue Brain’ y ‘The Human Brain Project’, que por su gran envergadura y presupuesto (1.2 billones de euros) se enmarcan en el 7º Marco Europeo. Además, es la Directora de los Proyectos de I+D+i de U-tad. Entre algunos de ellos, detacan ‘CicerOn‘, ‘InmersArte‘, ‘Cenizas‘, ‘Virtual Transplant Reality‘, ‘Lancelot‘, ‘Reactive’ o ‘NextGen‘ junto con entidades como el Hospital Universitario La Paz, Indra, Fundación Orange, Ministerio de Educación, etc. Profesora Universitaria desde 2008, escritora de más de 40 libros con la editorial Ra-Ma y múltiples artículos en revistas indexadas de alto impacto.
